I would disagree with this. The Maus is only easy to kill from the sides and rear if the driver has no idea what he's doing and doesnt angle his armor at all. Because the Maus's side is 180mm of armor if you angle it at all the effective value will easily get above 200 making it at least 50mm thicker than the E-100. The Maus also has 10mm more rear armor and it is sloped making it hard to penetrate (considering it's rear armor). Armor wise, the E-100 functions like a Maus with less armor on the sides and rear and a large lower glacis in the front compared to the Maus's smaller license plate.

The E-100's frontal armor would be a fucking bitch if it wasn't for the light-bar. It's a breeze when you punch it right in the cupola and giggle at it. E-100's cannot hull-down.

Strange.. Last match I had with my E-100, i took 2x T30 shots to the police bar and took no damage. Not to mention 4 rounds from KT and a 128 from 4502 also to the bar and no damage...

E-100 frontal armor would be a bitch if not for the entire lower glacis plate. At least vs. other T9/T10s, that thing doesn't stop much. Light bar isn't even necessary.

Plus, frontal turret armor isn't worth much in CW when gold rounds have a good chance of penning it.

There are times when I have trouble penning the E-100 with Maus AP but he usually has just as much if not more of a problem penning me so it balances out.

With my E 100 I find it really boils down to how stupid the guy is who's shooting at you. If he is an idiot the angled armor seems to do the trick...if he knows what he is doing though...sucks to be you.

EDIT: that or I am not angeling the armor propperly. I guess I could be the idiot...lol.

Other than being small and hard to hit at range, plus when you miss the light bar, the shot goes over the tank or hits the very well armored turret. Good luck hitting it at range with a T10 gun.

Well, if you're at range, then you're on even par with a Maus anyway, and the E-100's gun has better chance to pen (with gold) at long range.

Of course, on the other hand you've shit accuracy and very poor performance vs. sloped armor. It's definitely not a black and white issue.

Well. Some of it comes down to luck, some of it comes down to driver skill. You need a mix of both, though the more skill you have, the less luck you'll need.
