The clan has to invest into every player that joins, what can you invest into the clan?:
A trained leader who is not afraid to call a battle or listen to directions while under fire.

I work in law enforcement, and I've worked jobs where you get a call- you simply go, so I understand that. However, it does present a problem for clan wars. If we're sitting there in the middle of a battle and your cell starts going off, obviously you're going to go. It does present a problem for the team, though. How often do you expect you'll be called away during clan wars?

I have been on 4 calls this past DEC and zero of them were in my Play Period (I play 7am till 10am and 4pm till 11pm usually)

Okay, so 4 out of 31 days, that's not too bad. Still, if we have clan wars, we'll have CW each of those 31 days. Granted, your time frame to be online for CW is 15 minutes (minimum, usually 30 if you want a for-sure slot) for prep and 15 for the actual battle, so the window is small.

What I'm getting at is that while it's not a reason to decline you as a clan member, it is something to keep in mind for clan wars, as you don't want to let down your team mates by suddenly up and leaving. (Even if your work is innumerably more important)

Does that make sense, or am I wording myself wrong?

+2 sounds like an awesome guy, hes a firefighter, likes American tanks, and seems cool, hop on TS (Teamspeak 3) when you get a chance

I understand the importance of CW and the commitment it requires. Let me explain a little more. I am a captain and I only HAVE to go to a call if it is a Category 2 Incident (or worse) or if We have to set up mobile command center (like a mine shaft collapse). If Mr Schniederman gets drunk and falls down a culvert, I let the rookies handle that. So of those 4 calls, only two I was required on-scene. In other words Gates, count me in unless hell is breaking loose in Wisconsin! I will log on TS here in a bit to introduce myself.

I gotta go clean my car up, then I'll be on for a little bit before going out tonight.

We could just have 1 or 2 people on reserve with people's account information to log on if a playing member has to go urgently or d/cs. There'd be a 1 minute lapse but it's better than losing a player completely. Just sayin'.

So I see you've got real life experience leading- props and much respect for what you do, btw. However, did you mean by this that you had experience commanding in WoT?

I was referring to RL, I am newer to Tanks (3500 battles) but am adapting fast! I will have my Patton this Week

I had the opportunity to join in with Mr Nixxon in some French battle action. Very fun even if it has paper armor.

BTW Skorm, love WH40K! I had a Tyranid Table Top army and used to play once or twice a week. Used to deploy swarms of Genestealers. Miss those days! I even used to hand paint each one. LOL
