Which Division(Blue Turret or Super Secret Gentleman's Squadron) are you looking to join?

Would love to join BT but if I have to work up to it I completely understand!

World of Tanks, War Thunder, I play Company of Heroes 1-2, ARMA, etc.

Previous Clans:

STDR and KGL

Reasons why you left those groups:

STDR's clan leader was busy playing other games, no real leadership, paired with only half of the clan was willing to do clan wars. KGL was a merge of clan wars players from STDR and TMPLR to much drama ended up making all the STDR players leave the clan.

What is the favorite tank you've played and why, as well as a run down of your highest tier vehicle:

SU152 and the type T34 are kind of tied for favorite tanks played. Always laughed when a higher tier vehicle would roll up on my SU and then quickly back away as it wondered what happened to its modules. The type t34 is just a fun little tank with a fantastic gun enjoying the grind. My current tier 10s are the IS7 and FOCH155 (sold IS4), will be grinding the M103 hardcore to get the T110. Sadly my overall stats are lacking as I played my first 8k battles on 7-10 FPS along with 300ms ping. I'm now currently running a full system with 100+ FPS and 100ms.

If Gates could touch you anywhere, where would you let them touch you:

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?:

What makes you want to join our Community?:

A friend recently joined (Discoinferno8) and he made you guys sound like a great group. I also recently posted a topic on the forums on how to improve my overall stats on a couple of tanks and Referat was nice enough to give me some replays on specific tanks and gave me a offer to platoon with him. Would also love to get back into CWs as its been awhile and miss some actual strategy to the game.

Previous Clan Wars experience?:

Was in every CW possible in KGL and STDR. Played my IS7 and IS4 (sold.) Also used a friends account when artillery or batchat was needed. Called a couple times in KGL and STDR but nothing serious usually old plans with a little revision. Lots of holding land in Africa.

The clan has to invest into every player that joins, what can you invest into the clan?:

My intent to learn and become a overall better player. While I have the experience I can still greatly improve.

A GTX650 will pull 100+ FPS regularly on low settings. Any higher on settings and you'll crash to desktop every match. Damn Nvidia drivers!

I'm currently running this on a 720p monitor and getting 160-170 on max settings including AA depending on how hot it is in my room. Have played it on 1080 and 1440 and it still plays above 80 fps.

Hate to burst your bubble, but you should not be doing over 60 fps. I dont really care if you can or not, you simply shouldnt. the human eyes can absorb 300 fps approximately, however the human brain will only comprehend 60 fps, also to note, unless your hooked up to a high rate screen, than your screen will cap at 60fps.

Your simply burning the lifespan on your hardware.

Also, if you dont want issues with the game, update both your application files for catalyst, and upgrade catalyst to the new 13.6 Beta Drivers.

Otherwise, im sure we'll get along fine. Razz

EDIT: 13.6 Beta Drivers work fine in any game ive tried(BLR, WoT, TR, DE, DI, etc, etc), however they are producing A LOT of screen tearing on desktop...

100+ fps is nice and everything, but 100ms ping is very borderline for me. I play this game on a laptop with an i7 and switchable graphics. Tops out at about 80 fps and a very sunny day when it feels very good. my ping however remains at around 20.

Eawh thanks for applying.

Your real borderline. Your not a bad player, but your not an elite player. You have 3 Tier10s, one of which being somewhat usable in clan wars.

Id like to talk to you in teamspeak to see what kind of player you are - ssgs.teamspeak3.com

Mainly your efficiency is really low, your win rates low, and your T10 damage per game are low (besides the Foch which is average). This is probably attributed to your ping and framerate problems, and you might be able to improve as a player greatly over the next couple weeks.

IMO try joining SSGS or Heavy Turret. Once you get your E5 and play about 30 games I would like to re-evaluate you as a player and see where you are at.

ping is not based on how much you can push through a wire.

ping is based off time from your chipset, to the end destination.

This generally means distance, and how conducting the wire may be.
