This Forum Board Emails people to notify them that replies have been posted.

I.E., you reply to a topic, and then someone else replies to what YOU posted, and you would receive an email. So far, Gates and I haven't been able to find a solution that we can apply to the entire board.

The only current solution to stop this is to follow these simple steps:
1.) Go to your User Control Panel.
2.) Select the "Preferences" tab.
3.) Scroll down the options list to "Always notify me of replies". Change this option to "No", and you should stop getting Email notifications.

I have those boxes unchecked, and am still getting emails every few minutes....

The forums set all topics you post in to 'tracked' until you change your settings. Any topics from before the settings change are still tracked. Go to User Control Panel -----> Topics Being Watched, and clear that out.

I did too, but it was still tracking three threads that I posted in before I changed those settings.
