application
I am 50 years old. I am new to Navyfield game been playing about 3 weeks, but I did go premium. I do not belong to a fleet and still wondering about the benafits of joining. Sorry the only one that gets to touch me is my wife nancy and she can touch me any where she wants. I had seen many people chating about fleets so I started searching for 1 to join. I am beginning to like this game much better that Voyage of the Century that I have been playing for the last 3 years. I am a 15 year Army vet, who is now disabled. Any more questions ask in an email, achilles001@att.net

Wife name nancy, you can't marry imaginary friends believe me I tried...just kidding. I am Walkerus Officer of NSFW squad, and application will be under review, thanks for applying to SSGS?! Hope you join the fleet. If you have any more questions, a PM to me or any other officer you would prefer.

I like the unique approach to applying. Good grammer, decent rhetoric. Thumbs up!

Re: application
19 Year Army Vet. Wow. I may need to pick your brain, Sir, for I am a Future Officer for the United States Air Force.
Also, do you have Teamspeak? If so, I would love to see you on it, chatting it up with the rest of the members of the fleet and for us to get to know you a little better.
Also, please understand that you are the oldest applicant to our Fleet. With this being said, please realize that the leadership of this fleet is in their 20's and, in some cases, 30's. I hope this does not become an issue for you. I would be willing to work around it if one arises.

Re: application
I don't really care about spelling errors. But, Ray, our primary methods of communications are forums and TS. Are you able to use one or the other?
Re: application
Umm to start off, I'd like to say that I'm glad to see that you checked back and made a new application/introduction, which is a good start and a lot better than the previous posting.
As for your regards to the role of a "fleet". The best way i would describe SSGS, would be a group of ladies and gents who formed and joined, in order to enjoy one another's presence. There are a few benefit of being in a fleet, which is that you can receive help and ask questions about anything and we'd do our best to answer or help. As a fleet, we also take part of tournaments, harbor assaults, fleet wars, etc. If you are interested in a strict, more competitive fleet then this one isn't made for u. This is because tho we are competitive fleet (to a certain point), we focus more on having fun and enjoying this game, which is one thing that many competitive fleets have forgotten.
As for what concerns me is that you just started playing, which is always a good thing. However my question to you would be: Are you sure this would be the "Correct" fleet to join or should you do more research on fleets before you make a sound decision? Like someone mention earlier, this fleet contains a lot of people ranging in the "teen" section, (in the 10s and 20s), so would it be an issue regarding the age difference? (take into account, that as a younger generation, most of us will talk/joke/etc about things that could seem inappropriate)
Besides that, I wish you luck upon your application and if you have any questions feel free to whisper me In-game.

p.s. In-game name: Deathcrew or Deathnoob

Re: application
I actually really liked the application, i felt the format he put it in gave me more insight into him as a person than most other applicants applications.
i guess first things first are that we see a reply here or some activity in other parts of the forum or on TS.
We don't discriminate on age and i also really liked the honesty about the reason to join.

I am happy with the application. I recently got my father to play Navyfield, and he is hooked as well (61 years old [retired]).

Lol, and where is yours?
And Trigg, no offense of you being in the Chair Force, but your asking advice from 15 year old ARMY Vet, you will be surprise how there opinions are majorly different then others, I am not saying don't take his advice if he ever takes it, I am just saying don't be surprise of what opinion and/or facts he might gave you.

Military Advice is the same from branch to branch, walker. And oh, by the way, The Air Force came from the Army. Most of it is still the same today.
