World Of Tanks BT application Empty World Of Tanks BT application

Post by Sumidiot Fri Mar 01, 2013 12:10 pm

Games you're interested in joining SSGS:
World Of Tanks

In Game Account(s):
Sumidiot

Age:
31

Previous Clans:

116, Wind (same clan different names for the CWs part of the clan)

Reasons why you left those groups:
Not active enough in CWs, more of a casual clan. Great bunch of tankers though. I will be keeping my 2nd account with them for causal play.

What is the favorite tank you've played and why

The Obj 268 is by far my favorite tank, I truly enjoy the Romulan Cloaking Device as well as the huge alpha damage.

, as well as a rundown of your highest tier vehicle:
The Obj 268 is a mobile, hard hitting TD capable of remaining unseen throughout combat while decimating the opposing teams’ front, and second line. The speed of the Obj 268 allows for relocation to key positions across the map as needed by the team. If not being used on the second line of attack, the Obj 268 also makes an excellent defender. It can easily set up in a position that allows for multiple cap resets before being spotted, and once spotted it has the speed relocated to allow for further cap resets.

Downsides of the Obj 268:
A quick moving medium tank can circle, and destroy you quite easily if they get close, making it better for cap resets than an actual artillery defender.
You will always be artilleries first target.

I am also working towards the E5, and I currently love the T29.

If Gates could touch you anywhere, where would you let him touch you:

The inside of my eyelid, it’s the only place my wife won’t touch me.
Who am I kidding, my wife won’t touch me at all, I’M ALL YOURS GATES.

If you could be an animal, what would you be?:

Fictional: Displacer Beast.
Real: Wolverine (those little bastards can kill a bear)

If Gates calls you in the middle of the night to discuss sexual fantasies, what do you do?:

Not sure you want to go down that road Gates, I’m a sick bastard.

What makes you want to join SSGS?:
You mean other than the fact it is a super-secret club?

Parckie and I talked for a while, and he was very convincing as well as helpful.

You all seem to really have your shit together, ie: you are CWs ready, dedicated to being the best, respectful to your members, hold training sessions, and other assorted awesomeness.

Previous Clan Wars experience?:

Only a handful of games with Wind.

The clan has to invest into every player that joins, what can you invest into the clan?:

Dedication, whether it be studying/training with my TDs or Heavy tanks, or being helpful with other clan members when they need advice.

Reliability, if I say I will be available for training or CWs on a given night I will be there. My word is very important to me, and I don’t break it.

A positive attitude, even in the face of defeat. Sometimes you lose, it happens, there is no reason to be negative about it, all you can do is pick yourself up and train harder.

Nice App.
Did put in someeffort.

T29 and OBJ 268 - nice tanks; any 3rd 4th line you are running.

Also would you be interested in Tourneys?

I am kaps - you can see me in TS sometime and platoon 8,9,10 and 5 are my fav tiers and my fav brand is Pepperidge Farm.

I would be interested in Tournaments.

As far as other tank lines, I am grinding for the F155, the Batchat 25t, and IS7. The E5 is just my primary grind at the moment.

You still have your tags - it may be frowned upon.
But yeah TS and Platooning and talking to SSGS / BT officer would be next step. Also answering questions about your app here.

Ciao.

Hey man its really good to see your app. We will be doing tank companies on Friday as well as clan wars later, so hop on our TS and hopefully we can get to know you a little bit.

ts3 - ssgs.teamspeak3.com

I like that you claim to be dedicated, have a positive attitude, and are reliable. Those are three important things.

How good do you think you are at World of T0nks, Sumi?

Please note this is not a trick question. There is no right or wrong answer.

My personal belief is that I am a well above average player. Now that being said one tanker does not determine the course of the battle. I would happily take a company of so called below average players who work well together as a unit into battle over a group of unicum players who have no sense of teamwork.

Well the unicum players with no sense of teamwork, thats their achillies heel, but their skill and battle awareness alone is what caries them to victory most of the time.

Hi, I'm Doom. I'll your app dissector for the day. I also double as the clan bitch, librarian and nude Ron Jeremy picture poster.

Your app came so close to being great. But... I hate to have to break it to you, we're a cruel, heartless band of marauding sociopaths that revel in crushing the inferior of society, feasting on the flesh of the weak and the tears of noobs.

Ahem. Someone mentioned that you still have tags on - that is generally very much frowned upon. You should be tag-free when making the app, as it shows that you're not just signing up on a whim, have thought about making the app and aren't actually still tied to the old clan. If it were down to me, I'd be a little concerned even with a quality app, if only because of the multiple account/multiple clans issue you raised.

Good luck with the rest of the app process, you have passed the grammar test. Move down the hall and take the next door on your left where Professor Vale will check your prostate and give you a medical/film you jumping up and down naked. Oh, yeah, you'll need to supply your own lube for that bit.

Well above the server average or the legitimate Clan Clan Wars average?

On one account, perhaps. But...

I will be keeping my 2nd account with them for causal play.

...Still makes me uneasy.

Sorry if that makes you uneasy, but they are a good group of tankers. They just don't want to be as active in CWs as I do. My second account doesn't even have a tier 3 yet, so it's not as if I am leaving CWs potential tanks with them.

I will be committed to BT first and foremost. I am just keeping my non-premium super low tier account with Wind as a way to keep in touch with those guys.

I have not played enough Clan Wars to give an honest assessment of my true CWs prowess. As far as regular play is concerned I feel very confident in my abilities, also I was in a company with you for most the night Lamp. You got to see my Obj 268 play for yourself.

On our fight on Sand River you had like 4500 damage, not to shabbay.

Sumi, I'm just asking because something we are very much uninterested in are egotistical players who can never see their own faults and never improve. I'm not suggesting you are one of those players, by the way. Smile
