 My old clan holds land more often than not.  Usually somewhere in the hinterlands.  We started the usual way; all our mismatched tier 10s with more than a few KV-5s etc on slow nights to make 15.  Eventually we got more good tanks and figured out what we were doing.  They are good enough to hold a bit of land in Africa (or now northern Canada) but as soon as they try to spread out or come up against a better clan, they are quickly mapped.  But they will find another landing and take the land the next day or two.
